b) Inserting the batteries
The transmitter is supplied by 4 AA/Mignon alkaline batter-
ies. Only use batteries to power the transmitter and do not
use rechargeable batteries.
Proceed as follows to insert the batteries:
The battery compartment cover (1) is located on the rear
side of the transmitter. Press the two corrugated surfaces
(2) and slide the cover downwards. Then you can lift off
the cover.
Insert 4 AA/Mignon (preferably alkaline) batteries into the
battery compartment. First insert the batteries in the left
area and then slide them to the right under the bar (3).
Observe the correct polarity of the individual cells. A re-
spective note (4) can be found on the bottom of the battery
compartment.
The spiral spring contact (5) must always be connected to
the negative pole of the battery.
Then replace the battery compartment cover and push it
upwards until it clicks into place.
