8.2.1 Operating principle

In normal operation, the LED, pos. 5 (output relay), will be on,
and all other LEDs will be off.
Undervoltage monitoring
If the voltage falls below the minimum setpoint (– 10 %), the time
delay will be triggered, and the LED, pos. 3 (min), will flash. When
the delay time has expired, and the voltage is still below setpoint,
the LED, pos. 3, will be permanently on, and the output relay will
drop out (LED, pos. 5, is off). The output relay will cut in
automatically when the measured voltage exceeds the value at
the maximum regulator, pos. 2.
Phase sequence and phase-failure monitoring
If one of the phase voltages fails, the time delay will be triggered,
and the LED SEQ, pos. 4, will flash. When the delay time has
expired, and the failure still remains, the LED, pos. 4, will be
permanently on, and the output relay will drop out (LED, pos. 5, is
off).
If a change in phase sequence is detected (LED, pos. 4, is on),
the output relay will drop out immediately (LED, pos. 5, is off).
Asymmetry monitoring
Setpoint
If the asymmetry of the phase-to-phase voltages exceeds the
10 %
value set at the ASYM-regulator (10 %), the time delay will be
– 5 %
triggered, and the LED ASYM, pos. 1, will flash. When the delay
time has expired, and asymmetry still exist, the LED, pos. 1, will
– 10 %
be permanently on, and the output relay will drop out (LED,
5 seconds
pos. 5, is off).
U+S
A break in the neutral conductor of the power line will be detected
as soon as asymmetry between phase-to-phase voltage and
neutral conductor occurs. If the asymmetry exceeds the values
set at the ASYM-regulator, the procedure will run as described.
8.2.2 Potential-free signalling
Mains failure: 1 changeover contact.

8.3 Monitoring module for pressure switches

(Only for WM versions)
The monitoring module for both pressure switches monitors the
cables and wires up to the pressure switches for cable breakage
and short-circuiting of the input contacts.
The module will switch on the fire pump during a decrease in
pressure.

In the event of a wire breakage or a short-circuit, the alarm horn
will sound, indicator light H4 (fire pump fault) will illuminate, and a
relay for collective fault to a superior fault centre via potential-free
terminals will be activated.
