NOUGAT DRINKING YOGHURT
INGREDIENTS
1 litre low-fat milk
ca. 100 ml pure living lactobacillus yoghurt
ca. 100 g hazelnut nougat cream
PREPARATION
Thoroughly mix milk and yoghurt and pour the mixture into the bread pan.
Place the bread pan into the bread maker and close the lid of the appliance. Select
program 18 Yoghurt. Ensure, not to select any other program!
After completion of the yoghurt cycle, pour the yoghurt into a sufficiently high, nar-
row container, preferably with a pouring spout. Cover the container and let the
yoghurt rest for some additional time at room temperature until the whey accumula-
ted on top of the yoghurt.
Carefully pour off the whey. You can use it for preparing a delightful drink (see:
"Whey Drink").
Whisk hazelnut nougat cream into the yoghurt. Chill yoghurt and whey in the refri-
gerator.
Divide up the yoghurt into 4-6 drinking glasses.
WHEY DRINK
INGREDIENTS
1 cup (approx. 200 ml) whey
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Sugar to taste
PREPARATION
Pour off the whey derived from yoghurt preparation into a sufficiently large drinking
glass.
Add lemon juice and Sugar to taste. Stir thoroughly to dissolve the sugar.
TIP: Instead of lemon juice you may try several other fruit juices to create your own
whey drink.
