1. Introduction

1.1. Introduction
This manual describes the installation and set-up of Danfoss TLX inverters.
All persons installing inverters must be trained in and have experience with the general safety
rules to be observed when working on electrical equipment. Installation personnel should also be
familiar with local requirements, rules and regulations as well as safety requirements.

1.1.1. Installation Sequence

1. Read the manual. Pay special attention to the section on Safety, section 1.1.
2. Install the inverter according to section 2.1 and 2.2.
3. Open the inverter according to section 2.4.
4. Install AC according to section 2.5.
5. Install PV. Remember to use the terminal block to establish parallel connection (if re-
quired), as described in sections 2.6 and 2.6.1.
6. Install Auxiliary input according to section 2.7.
7. Close the inverter according to section 2.4.
8. Turn on AC at the mains switch.
9. Set language, time, date and country as prompted by the display, see section 3.1.
10. Set PV configuration in the display according to section 2.6.
11. Set Auxiliary input details in the display, see the inverter user manual and instructions
for the individual auxiliary product.
12. Turn on PV by turning the DC-switch on.
13. The inverter is now ready for operation.
CE marking - This certifies the conformity of the equipment with the regula-
tions which apply in accordance with the directives 2004/108/EC and 2006/95/
EC.
