10. Operation of the model helicopter

To perform service or adjustment work on the model, you need to take off the cabin hood. For this purpose, lift the hood
off the two support bolts on the left and the right (see fig. 6, pos. 5) and pull off the hood forwards.
a) Charging the flight battery
• Prior to commissioning your model helicopter, you need
to charge the supplied LiPo flight battery (1).
• Use a suitable charger with a balancer/equalizer
connection.
The accumulator is equipped with the required 4-pole
connection cable (2) for this purpose. The 2-pole
connection cable with BEC plug (3) serves to connect
the accumulator in the model later on.
Warning!
During the charging procedure, place the LiPo battery on a fire-proof support or in an appropriate clay
container.
Never charge the rechargeable battery unattended.
See chapter 7 of this manual.

b) Installing the antenna wire

• The antenna wire (1) of the receiver must be installed
in such a way that it ensures the maximum reception
and cannot get tangled up in the rotating parts of the
helicopter's mechanics.
• It is best to fix the antenna wire on the side of the elevator
unit with a small piece of tape (2).
• The protruding part is then guided back to the front onto
the other side of the skid bars (3).
