10. Operating the model helicopter
a) Charging the flight battery
• First connect the low voltage plug-in connec-
tor (1) of the plug-in power supply device (2)
at the input jack (3) of the charge adaptor/bal-
ancer.
The inner contact must be connected to the
plus connection (+) and the outside contact to
the minus connection (-) of the power supply
unit.
Note:
For photo-technical reasons, the connection
cable of the plug-in power supply device is still
wound up. For operation, it is necessary to
unwind the cable.
• As soon as you connect the plug-in power sup-
ply device (2) to a 230V power socket, the red
LED flashes for the operating voltage display
(4) and the LED for the charging display (5)
flashes green.
• The charging cable of your rechargeable bat-
tery (6) is equipped with a plug-in system (7)
that is protected against polarity reversal.
Ensure when connecting at the charge adap-
tor that both guide lugs of the plug-in connec-
tor (8) are directed upward.
• The left connection jack (9) is designed for 2
cell 7.4V battery packs and a 3-pin plug.
The right jack (10) is designed for the connec-
tion of 3 cell 11.1V battery packs and a 4-pin
plug.
