2. Intended Use

This product is an electrically driven model helicopter which is radio controlled via the remote control installation
included in the delivery. The model is designed for use in large indoor rooms or sports arenas and can also be used
outdoors at light wind. The model helicopter is pre-assembled ready to fly and is delivered with built-in remote control
and drive components.
The product must not get damp or wet.
The product is not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
Take note of all the safety notes in these operating instructions! They contain important information
regarding the handling of the product.


3. Product Description

The ready-to-fly RC electronic helicopter "Dragonfly PRO" RtF has a rotor head with symmetrical rotor blades controlled
by three servos via a 120° swash plate.
Raising or lowering the swash plate causes a collective change in the angle of attack of the main rotor blades. When
combined with speed regulation, this makes it possible to make the model helicopter ascend or descend.
Deliberately inclining and tilting the swash plate causes a constantly repeating direction-dependent (cyclic) adjustment
of the blades which makes flight in a particular direction possible.
Stabilization around the vertical axis (main rotor shaft) is handled by a tail rotor which is powered via a toothed belt
from the main cogwheel.
The central control electronics consist of a high-quality PCM receiver, a gyro as well as a speed adjuster for the
brushless engine.
With a toggle switch on the receiver, it is possible to change the assignments for rotor blade attack angle and motor
speed in such a way that the helicopter is technically capable of flying upside down.
The radio remote control installation included in the delivery allows a sensitive steering of the model.
8 Mignon batteries (e.g. Conrad Item-No. 650117) or Mignon rechargeable batteries are necessary to operate the
transmitter.
