• If the rotary control is turned all the way to the right (+100), the swash plate servos react less to the control commands
in the range of the central position of the control stick. This makes the helicopter easier to control in hover flight,
because the control commands do not cause heavy reactions of the model.
The maximum possible servo deflection at full control stick deflection remains, however (ill. 22B).
• If the rotary control is turned all the way to the left (-100), the swash plate servos react more to the control commands
in the range of the central position of the control stick. The helicopter therefore reacts much more agile to direction
changes in hover flight. The maximum possible servo deflection at full control stick deflection also remains (ill. 22C).

Practical flying tips

The easiest way to observe the reactions to the settings is when you slightly deflect the control stick to the side for the
roll function, keep it in this position and at the same time turn the adjuster V2.
As a beginner, you should set a value of approx. +40 so you can control the helicopter easier in hover flight.
The gas curve
Although the helicopter does not have a combustion engine with carburetor but instead an electric drive, it is common
to refer to the gas function when talking about performance control.
The control stick for the pitch function does not only control the swash plate servos. In addition, the speed controller
supplies the engine with more or less energy. The gas curve set by the factory can be changed in a limited range.
• This setting is performed with the right adjuster V1 (4).
If the controller is in central position, this corresponds
to a linear control with 50% gas share in normal flight
mode, if the control stick for the pitch function is located
in the center.
• In aerobic/inverted flight mode, this setting corresponds
to a gas share of 60% in central position.
• If the rotary control is turned all the way to the left (-
100), the gas curve is lowered to 40% in the medium
range.
• If the rotary control is turned all the way to the right
(+100), the gas curve is raised to 80 % in the medium
range.
• This setting has the same effect on the gas curve for normal flight (ill. 24A) and the gas curve for aerobic/inverted
flight (ill. 24B).
