i) Inserting the Flight Battery

Turn the model plane on its back. Press the latch (1) on the
battery compartment lid (2) slightly backwards and lift the
lid out of the frame to the front.
Then connect the connection cable of the speed controller
with the reverse-polarity protected connector (3) inside the
battery compartment.
Screw the flight battery (4) into the battery compartment
according to the adjacent figure. The battery connection
cable (5) must point upwards.
Bring the control stick for the engine function in the bottom-
most position and switch on the transmitter.
Connect the battery plug (6) to the speed controller plug
(3).
The flight battery must be slid into the battery compartment
so that the connection cables with the two plug connectors
(3 and 6) still have sufficient space in the battery compart-
ment.
First attach the battery compartment lid (2) in the frame at
the rear end and press it down at the front until the latch (1)
catches again securely.
Attention!
When locking the battery compartment lid, en-
sure that the front latch catches securely.
For installing/removing of the battery, do not
place the model on its top wing on a level sur-
face. The pressure exerted on the tips of the V-
shaped wing may damage the wing.
Always remove the battery from the model for
recharging. Never recharge the battery in the
model. The heat generated by the recharging
process can result in the battery deforming and
the model being severely damaged.
