h) Installing the servos and the receiver

First, install 3 suitable servos for the elevator (1), the rudder (2) and the aileron
(3) at the prepared positions in the fuselage with 2 screws each. The screws
are delivered with the servos.
Connect the outputs of the two stabiliser servos, the aileron servo and the
speed controller to the receiver (7).
Then attach the receiver (7) using double-sided servo tape and, if necessary,
secure it with foam.
Make sure that the receiver (7) or the servo cables do not obstruct or block the
linkages (4, 5, 6).
Switch on the remote control. Then switch on the receiver of your model.
With all the servos in neutral position, install the servo arms and hook up the
linkages (4, 5, 6) for the rudder functions to the servo arms.
Then check the functions of your model and make sure that the control functions
cause responses in the correct direction.
Figure 9
In a right turn, the aileron function must cause the right aileron to move up.
The rudder must deflect to the right (back view) when the control stick is moved to the right.
The elevator must deflect upwards when you pull the control stick towards yourself.
If the response to a control function is in the wrong direction, you can adjust the function in the menu of the remote control. To do that, see the instructions of your
remote control.

i) Inserting the flight battery

Once you have fitted the speed controller with high current plugs, you can
insert the flight battery.
Use 3-cell LiPo batteries with a capacity of 1500-2200 mAh.
Fasten the flight battery with Velcro tape.
The exact installation position of the battery is determined later when setting
the centre of gravity.
