Binding of Transmitter and Receiver

To ensure that 2.4 GHz remote controls can transfer their signal without interferences, the transmitter and receiver
must have the same digital code. Alignment of the digital encoding (binding between transmitter and receiver) is
performed with the binding function.
Transmitter and receiver are usually already aligned with each other or bound in the factory and can be used at once.
Binding only needs to be performed again after replacing the transmitter or receiver or to remove malfunctions.
Since different manufacturers use different encoding methods, transmitter and receiver cannot be combined and
operated with products of other manufacturers.
Re-establishing the binding:
• Keep the PDM button (1) pressed and turn on the trans-
mitter.
• When the green and red LEDs flash alternatingly, release
the PDM button at the transmitter. The red LED flashes
thrice quickly, then both LEDs will flash alternatingly again.
• Next, switch on the receiver or connect the flight battery.
The receiver LED (2) is not lit then.
• Press the binding button at the receiver (3) with a pointed
object and keep it pressed for at least 2 seconds. The
receiver LED (2) flashes first twice slowly, then twice more
quickly. After a short break, the receiver LED flickers con-
tinually.
• When the receiver LED (2) flickers, press the PDM button
(1) at the transmitter again.
• The red LED on the transmitter lights up then, and shortly
thereafter, the green LED lights up as well. When the green
LED lights up at the transmitter, the receiver LED (2) lights
up as well and is lit continually.
• Binding is completed and the control signals transferred
by the transmitter are received by the receiver. The re-
mote control is now ready for use.
Mark the different servo connection cables with a water-tight marker before removing the transmitter, so
that you can later connect the servos again in the right slot when installing the receiver.
The two aerial lines (see figure 28, item 4) were only coiled for photo-technical reasons. Place the lines as straight in
the model as possible. The two aerials (see figure 29, item 5) must neither be cut off nor bent; for best receipt results,
they should be aligned at a 90° angle to each other.
