h) Inserting the Flight Battery

Press the latch (1) on the battery compartment lid (2) slightly
forwards and lift the lid out of the frame to the back.
Then connect the connection cable of the speed controller
with the reverse-polarity protected connector (3) inside the
battery compartment.
Screw the flight battery (4) into the battery compartment
according to the adjacent figure. The battery connection
cable (5) must point upwards.
Slide the control stick for the motor function (also see figure
2, item 11) to the bottom position and switch on the
transmitter.
Connect the battery plug (6) to the speed controller plug
(3).
The flight battery must be slid into the battery compartment
so that the connection cables with the two plug connectors
(3 and 6) still have sufficient space in the battery
compartment.
The battery's rear lower corner must interlock with the
fuselage or surface aperture (also see figure 10, item 5)
(see sketch figure 14).
First attach the battery compartment lid (2) in the frame at
the front end and press it down at the rear until the latch (1)
catches again securely.
Attention!
When locking the battery compartment lid,
ensure that the rear latch catches securely.
Always remove the battery from the model for recharging.
Never recharge the battery in the model. The heat generated
by the recharging process can result in the battery deforming
and the model being severely damaged.
