Checking the Model Function

a) Checking the Rudder Functions

First switch on the transmitter. Then switch on the model.
Neutral position:
If the control lever for the rudder function (see figure 3, item 3) as well as the corresponding trim sliders (see figure 3,
items 4 and 5) are in the central position, the aileron and elevator should also be in exactly centre position. If neces-
sary, twisting the respective clevises may result in elongating the rods so that the rudder can be adjusted with millime-
tre precision.
Elevator function:
If the control lever for the elevator and aileron functions (see figure 3, item 3) is moved down, the elevator must deflect
to the top. In flight, the landing gear is pressed downwards and the model ascends.
If the control lever for the elevator and aileron functions (see figure 3, item 3) is moved up, the elevator must deflect to
the bottom. In flight, the landing gear is then pressed upwards and the model descends. This control function is
required to put the model into a normal light position if it wants to ascend too much due to a control error or a gust of
wind.
