b) Checking the Swing of the Rudder

If correctly assembled and if the transmitter settings are made properly, the rudders should show the following deflec-
tion values (measured at the rear edge):
Elevator
Approx. 5 - 7 mm up and down
Aileron
Approx. 4 - 5 mm up and down
The rudder deflections are preset ex works or result automatically from the respective model design. If necessary, you
may increase or decrease the rudder deflections by selecting other control points for the control sticks on the servo
lever or rudder lever.

c) Checking the Engine Function

Attention!
Ensure that no loose parts, such as paper, film or other objects can be sucked into the rotor during this
motor test. Also make sure that the model is held securely during this test run and that no body parts are
within the rotation range or danger area of the rotor.
• Slide the control lever for the rudder and engine speed (also see figure 3, item 11) to the bottom position (engine off).
• Start up the transmitter and then the model.
• Slide the control lever for the rudder and engine functions from the bottom to the top position and then right back to
the bottom position.
• If you push the control lever for the rudder and engine function upwards again now, the rotor starts and the speed
increases depending on the position of the control lever.
• The maximum rotation speed is reached when the control stick is on the top end.
• Perform a brief engine test and check the run of the rotor and the rotor catch.
