Current/water cable

The current/water cable (3) transfers the welding current from the central connection
(17) to the coupling.
The coolant for the welding system also flows through the current/water cable (3) (water
flow).
Current/water coupling hosepack
The current/water cable (3) and the water hose (2) are connected to the drive unit via the
current/water coupling hosepack (2a).
Gas coupling hosepack
The gas hose (5) and the air hose (6) are connected to the drive unit via the gas coup-
ling hosepack (3a).
The gas coupling hosepack (3a) also contains a non-return valve for the air hose.
Motor lead
Power is supplied to the drive unit motor via the motor lead (1). The motor is actuated by
the PM43 A PCB in the CMT power source or the CMT wirefeeder.
LHSB cable
The LHSB cable (4) firstly supplies a defined voltage to the RDIO 30 A PCB and second-
ly transmits all signals.
Water hose (rubber)
The water hose (rubber) (2) is the hose for the water return. In a closed coolant circuit,
the water hose (rubber) (2) guarantees a constant coolant flow and cools the hosepack
down.
Gas hose (PTFE)
In the gas hose (PTFE) (5) the shielding gas used is fed to the torch neck coupling from
the wirefeeder.
Air hose (PUR)
The compressed air is fed to the coupling from an external compressed air supply via
the air hose (PUR) (6). The compressed air is required, for example, to blow welding
spatter out of the gas nozzle.
Shaft protective hose
The shaft protection hose (9) protects all internal hosepack components from thermal
and mechanical influences.
Central connection
The central connection (17) is the connection between the wirefeeder and the hosepack.
The central connection transfers the welding current and facilitates the gas supply and
water cooling.
