Remedy
► Attach the grass catcher box.
► Check the proper fit of the discharge chute.
► If the error persists: Contactt a STIHL authorized
dealer.

Disengage the blades before getting up from the dri‐
ver's seat.
► Do not make any further attempts to start the
machine.
► Check the battery voltage.
► Check the fuses.
► Check if the battery connections are corroded or
are firmly seated.
► Check whether liquids are leaking from the bat‐
tery.
► Charge the battery.
► If the battery is defective: Replace the battery.
► Do not make any further attempts to start the
machine.
► Perform a visual check for oil leakage on the com‐
bustion engine.
► Check the oil level and refill the engine oil as nee‐
ded.
► If the error persists: Do not use the ride-on mower
and instead consult a STIHL authorized dealer.
Remedy
Engage the gearbox.
Contact a STIHL authorized dealer.
► Install or remove the rear wheels as described in
this User Manual.
► If the feather key is missing: Consult a STIHL
authorized dealer.
► Check the blades.
► If the blades are unbalanced: Sharpen the blades.
► If the blades are damaged: Have the blades
replaced by a STIHL authorized dealer.
Install the blade as described in this User Manual.
Contact a STIHL authorized dealer.
Tighten the fastening screws of the engine.
