11.3
Adjusting the engine speed
NOTICE
For mowing, always set the throttle lever to
the "MAX" position to prevent the V-belt and the
mowing deck from being overloaded.
When you push the throttle lever (1) up or down,
you can adjust the engine speed and the speed
of the blade, and you can switch the choke on
and off.
To switch on the choke:
► Push the throttle lever (1) all the way to the
"Choke" position (2).
The throttle lever engages, and the choke is
switched on.
To switch off the choke:
► Push the throttle lever (1) toward the
"MAX" position (3).
The throttle lever engages, and the choke is
switched off.
To increase the engine speed:
► Push the throttle lever (1) toward the "MAX"
position (3).
The engine speed increases.
To reduce the engine speed:
► Push the throttle lever (1) toward the "MIN"
position (4).
The engine speed slows down.

Driving
11.4.1
Braking
WARNING
The brake only acts on the rear wheels. When
braking hard, the user may lose control of the
ride-on mower.
► Avoid abrupt braking maneuvers when driv‐
ing at maximum speed.
The brake pedal can be used to slow down the
ride-on mower when driving or blocked when at a
standstill.

► Ease the pressure on the gas pedal.
The driving speed slows down.
► Apply even pressure on the brake pedal (1).
The ride-on mower stops.
11.4.2
Steering
The steering wheel (1) can be used to steer the
ride-on mower while driving.
► Turn the steering wheel (1) clockwise.
The ride-on mower turns to the right.
► Turn the steering wheel (1) counterclockwise.
The ride-on mower turns to the left.
The further you turn the steering wheel (1) of the
ride-on mower, the more pronounced the steer‐
ing maneuver.
11.4.3
Setting the direction of travel
NOTICE
When the gas pedal is pressed, the lever for set‐
ting the direction of travel is locked for safety rea‐
sons.
► Ease the pressure on the gas pedal.
