15.5.2
Removing and mounting the front
wheels
15.5.2.1 Removing the front wheels
► Ease the pressure on the front wheels,
15.5.1.
► Remove the cap (1).
► Use a suitable screwdriver to remove the
retaining ring (2).
► Remove the washer (3).
► Pull off the front wheel (4) from the wheel
axle (5).
15.5.2.2 Installing the front wheels
► Ease the pressure on the front wheels,
15.5.1.
► Clean the wheel axle with a soft brush.
► Grease the wheel axle.
► Push the wheel (1) onto the wheel axle (2).
The valve points away from the ride-on
mower.
► Push the washer (3) onto the wheel axle.
► Press the retaining ring (4) into the groove in
the wheel axle.
The retaining ring snaps into place.
► Place the cap (5) on the wheel axle (2).

Removing and mounting the rear
wheels
15.5.3.1 Removing the rear wheels
NOTICE
When removing the rear wheels, make sure not
to lose the feather keys.
► Ease the pressure on the rear wheels,

► Remove the cap (1).
► Use a suitable screwdriver to remove the
retaining ring (2).
► Pull the washers (3, 4) from the wheel axle.
► Pull the rear wheel (5) from the wheel axle.
The feather key (6) must remain in the groove
of the wheel axle.
15.5.3.2 Attaching the rear wheels
► Ease the pressure on the rear wheels,
15.5.1.
► Clean the wheel axle with a soft brush.
► Grease the wheel axle with lubricating grease.
► Check the position of the feather key (1) in the
groove of the wheel axle.
► Push the wheel (2) onto the wheel axle.
The valve points away from the ride-on
mower.
► Push the washers (3, 4) onto the wheel axle.
► Press the retaining ring (5) into the groove in
the wheel axle.
The retaining ring snaps into place.
► Push the cap (6) onto the wheel axle.

Lubricating the steering
knuckle
► Place the ride-on mower on a level surface.
