8 Blade
The blade mows the grass.
9 Mowing deck
The mowing deck consists of one blade and
the mowing deck housing.
10 Lever for the direction of travel
The lever selects the forward or reverse
direction of travel.
11 Mowing deck switch
The switch engages and disengages the
blade.
12 Parking brake lever
The lever engages and disengages the park‐
ing brake.
13 Ignition lock
The ignition lock with light switch is used to
start and stop the engine.
14 Driver's seat lever
The lever adjusts the driver's seat.
15 Throttle lever with choke
The lever is used to adjust the throttle and to
switch the choke on and off.
16 Tank display
The tank display indicates the gasoline fill
level.
17 Fuel tank cap
The fuel tank cap closes the opening for filling
gasoline.
18 Storage compartment
The storage compartment serves to store
items and covers the access to the engine oil
tank cap.
19 Discharge chute
The discharge chute directs the mowed grass
away from the blade to the grass catcher box.
20 Trailer hitch
The trailer hitch is used to attach and pull
loads.
21 Level sensor
The level sensor measures the filling level of
the grass catcher box.
22 Clip for releasing the grass catcher box
The clip is used to hold and release the grass
catcher box.
23 Grass catcher box
The grass catcher box collects the grass cut‐
tings.
24 Grass catcher box lever
The lever is used to empty the grass catcher
box.

The rating plate with serial number is located
under the fold-up driver's seat.
3.2
Ignition lock and ignition key
1 Ignition key
The ignition key operates the ignition lock.
The ignition key can be inserted in or
removed from the ignition lock only in the
"Engine off" position.
2 Ignition lock
The ignition lock is used to start and stop the
engine.
3 "Engine off" position
In the "Engine off" position, the engine is
turned off.
4 "Ignition on" position
In the "Ignition on" position, the electronics
system runs a self-diagnosis. After starting
the engine, the ignition key returns to this set‐
ting. When the engine is turned off, a beep
will sound in this position as an indication that
the battery is being discharged.
5 "Engine start" position
The starter is pressed in the "Engine start"
position. After the engine is started, the igni‐
tion key returns to the "Ignition on" position.
