15 Maintenance
Opening the engine compartment
► Fold the engine compartment cover (5)
upward until the catch (6) engages in the
frame recess (7).
The engine compartment is open.
15.2.2 Closing the engine compartment
► Press the engine compartment cover (1)
toward the front and hold it there.
► Lift the catch (2).
► Carefully lower the engine compartment
cover (2).

Fastening the engine compartment cover
► Screw in the screws (3) and tighten them to
20–25 Nm.
► Insert the rod for cutting height adjustment (4)
in the hole of the mowing deck mounting (5).
► Insert the cotter pin (6) as far as it will go.
The engine compartment is closed.
► Attach the mowing deck,
► Attach the discharge chute,
► Attach the grass catcher box,

15.3.1 Opening the storage compartment
► Place the ride-on mower on a level surface.
► Shut off the engine,
► Engage the parking brake,
► Remove the ignition key and store it securely.
► Move the driver's seat to its forward position or
fold it forward, 8.1.
