Replacements
6.2.1
Replacing the Sonotrode
Use the wrench (12, front fold-out page) to remove the sonotrode (11, front fold-out page)
•
from the handpiece by counterclockwise rotation; subsequently tighten the new sonotrode
with the wrench (clockwise rotation).
6.2.2
Replacing the Mains Fuse
Set SonicWeld Rx
•
— The unit can now no longer be activated and the display turns dark upon entering
standby mode.
•
Remove mains cable from mains socket-outlet.
Pull out the fuse holder (6, front fold-out page).
•
Remove the defective mains fuse from the fuse holder.
•
Insert new mains fuse into the fuse holder, see section 7 "Accessories & Spare Parts",
•
page 69, into the fuse holder.
Push fuse holder back into the unit, making sure that it locks in place.
•
Check the unit for proper functioning.
•
6.2.3
Replacing the Activation LED
The activation LED (9, front fold-out page) cannot be replaced by the user. However, a
defective LED has no adverse effect on the proper functioning of the SonicWeld Rx
a whole.
6.2.4
Replacing the Mains Cable
Set SonicWeld Rx
•
no longer be activated.
— The display turns dark upon entering standby mode.
•
Unplug the mains cable first from the mains socket-outlet and then from the IEC inlet
connector (5, front fold-out page).
Use new country-specific mains cable (see section 7 "Accessories & Spare Parts", page 69)
•
and connect it first to the unit (5, front fold-out page) and then to a grounding outlet.
Check the unit for proper functioning.
