Sterile Working

NOTICE
Non-sterile delivery of the SonicWeld Rx
All components of the SonicWeld Rx
Sonotrodes, open-end wrench and handpieces with connecting cables are located in the sterile
area of the operating environment, which is why they must be used in sterile condition.
• Make sure that the handpieces are dry.
Ensure that the sonotrodes, the open-end wrench and the handpieces with connecting

cables have been properly sterilized; see section 5 "Processing, Cleaning, Disinfection and
Sterilization", page 60.
WARNING
Danger of infection by non-sterile handling!
Improper sterilization and non-sterile handling of the SonicWeld Rx
health risks to patients.
