1 | MI_2086: Arresting the Temperature sensor hot air eSTB after changing Heating assembly (E) or
Please notice! The temperature sensor will be damaged by bending
directly. Use the arbor delivered in your kit.
The following steps are necessary for the adjustment:
a. Loosen the nut (width #14) of the temperature sensor eSTB and dismantle
the sensor. In order to reach the nut and to do the adjustment in gas units it
is necessary to dismantle the steam gas blower.
b. If necessary change the heating assembly (E) or the heat exchanger (G). This
is not necessary if only the temperature sensor eSTB has to be changed.
c. Do not reassemble the temperature sensor eSTB into the socket before the
adjustment.
d. For the adjustment, put the arbor through the welded or screwed socket
from the installation side as deep as possible.
e. Check the distance between the arbor and the Heating assembly/Heat ex-
changer by using the limit gauge. The arbor has the same diameter as the
temperature sensor eSTB.
Choose the correct limit gauge for your unit and find the correct range on
n
the gauge for your unit as shown below as vertical thick lines. In case of the
202 E you need two different ranges.
