8.5 Battery connection
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
If the device is connected by unqualified persons,
there is a risk of life-threatening electric shock!
The battery connection may only be carried out by a
suitably qualified electrician in compliance with the
applicable regulations and standards, as well as the safety
instructions contained in this manual, including the notes
at the beginning of this chapter!
Battery requirements
The battery storage unit KKTHVB10.24 provided by KKT Kolbe
meets all requirements and is compatible with the inverter.
If you want to connect a different battery model,
consider the following requirements:
• The charging and discharging system of the inverter is designed
for high-voltage lithium batteries.
• The battery communication must be compatible with the hybrid
inverter.
Before connecting to the battery, install a non-polarised
DC breaker to ensure that the inverter can be safely dis connected
during maintenance work.
Properties of the battery breaker
Voltage The nominal voltage of DC breaker should be
larger than the maximum voltage of battery.
