5. Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
Before carrying out any work on the device, including
maintenance and cleaning, it must be disconnected from
the power supply.
Always remember that the inverter is supplied via two or
three power sources: PV strings, public grid and battery, if
present. Before carrying out any service work, proceed as
follows:
• Have a qualified electrician disconnect the AC connec-
tion and set the DC switch (marking: "PV SWITCH")
on the side of the inverter to the OFF position.
• Wait at least 10 minutes until the internal capacitors are
completely discharged.
• Before unplugging a connector, make sure that it is
de-energised.
CAUTION!
Risk of burns!
The device can become very hot during operation!
In this case, let it cool down before cleaning or servicing it!
5.1 Cleaning
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
Moisture penetrating into live components can cause
life-threatening electric shocks!
Only use dry utensils for cleaning
as described in the following section
and do not use steam or high-pressure cleaners!
ATTENTION!
Risk of damage!
To avoid damage or discolouration of the surfaces,
do not use cleaning agents containing alcohol or acid,
aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents
and do not use sharp, pointed or rough utensils.
