Work mode: Bat priority (Battery priority)
The solar energy generated is primarily used to charge
the battery.
With energy supply from PV, grid and battery:
• If more solar energy is generated than is needed to
charge the battery, the surplus energy is used to supply
the connected loads.
Further surpluses are fed into the grid.
• If the solar energy is not sufficient to charge the battery
and supply the connected loads, the energy required
to supply the loads is provided from the grid.
With energy supply from mains and battery, without PV:
• Both the energy needed to charge the battery and the
energy needed to supply the connected loads is provid-
ed from the grid.
Noteongridfeed-in:
If the anti-reverse function is activated (see rel-
evant section under "Operation and setting"), no
power is fed into the grid in any of the work modes
(Self consume, Peak shift and Bat priority).
Noteonstartofoperation:
When commissioning the device or
starting operation after a long period of non-use,
first select the battery priority mode
(BAT PRIORITY).
This is necessary to calibrate the SOC
(battery charge level).
Otherwise, the battery will not be charged
and a fault message will appear.
