• Accumulator batteries pose a potential shock and
short-circuit hazard.
To avoid electric shock and short circuit hazards
during battery (un)installation, protect yourself with
rubber shoes and gloves, do not wear watches, rings
or similar metallic objects, use insulated tools and
do not place metallic objects on the batteries.
Switch off the loads connected to the batteries be-
fore disassembling the battery terminals.
• The maintenance of accumulator batteries may only
be carried out by a suitably qualified specialist.
• To avoid damage to the cables and associated haz-
ards, ensure that they are not bent, pinched or twist-
ed and cannot come into contact with sharp edges
or similar.
Do not disconnect the plugs by pulling on the cables,
but grasp them directly.
• To avoid possible electric shocks due to creeping
current, do not operate the appliance with wet or
damp hands and wear footwear during operation.
• Contact of liquids or moisture with live parts may
cause a short circuit or electric shock.
Do not use high-pressure cleaners or steam cleaners
to clean the appliance.
