2. Operating Principle and Use of the Device
2.1 Operating principle
The high-quality inverter converts direct current generated from
the solar modules (DC) into grid-compliant alternating current (AC).
It can be used to optimise power consumption,
to store the energy in a battery for later use
or to feed it into the public grid.
The operating mode depends on the availability of PV energy
and the user's preferences.
Emergency power can also be provided for power outages
by using the energy (generated by the PV) from the inverter and,
if necessary, from the battery.
  N oteonbatteryuse:
If the inverter is used in combination with the battery storage
unit KKTHVB10.24 provided by KKT Kolbe,
note that this runs through a training programme of about
one week in the first few days after the start of operation.
Deviations from the expected operating condition are normal
and harmless during this time.
