Pre-bleeding
The biocide dosing (orange LED) flag is set again at the notified time of a biocide dosing process. If the
conductivity value is higher than the bleeding threshold Ws at this time, bleeding is brought forward and
biocide dosing is blocked for this time.
The display shows 'Bleeding' .
The biocide dosing only starts after the bleeding has been completed. The display
shows 'Dos. Biocide (X)'
After the set dosing time has elapsed, the biocide dosing flag (orange LED) is reset
and the exposure time starts. The display shows 'Exposure time' .
Circulation control
If a biocide dosage is pending based on the weekly timer, the 'Biocide dosing' flag
(orange LED) is set. If, however, there is no run signal from the circulation pump
(enable) at this time, the 'Circulation' flag (grey LED) is set. The missing enable is
also shown in the display as a white cross in an orange background. At the same
time, an output is also activated to start the circulation pump.
If a run signal from the circulation pump (enable) is received, the unit waits for an
adjustable time (pre-circulation time) to ensure proper mixing in the cooling circuit.
The display shows 'Pre-circulation' for this time.
Depending on the current conductivity value, either pre-bleeding
or direct biocide dosing continues.
After the set dosing time has elapsed, the 'Biocide dosing' flag (orange LED) is
reset and the exposure time starts.
At the end of the exposure time, the 'Circulation' flag (grey LED) is reset and the output for the circulation

Monitoring
Bleeding monitoring
If the bleeding process is not completed for a specified time after the start of
bleeding, 'Bleeding alarm' is shown in the display.
Signal monitoring
If biocide dosing is pending and the enable signal is missing at this time, the unit
waits for an adjustable time. If there is still no enable after this time has elapsed, an
'Alarm enable signal' is issued.
