Installing the return adapter
1. Screw the coupling nipple (Fig. 2, item 1) into the
adapter (Fig. 2, item 2) with the flat sealing ring
(A10 x 13.5) and tighten it.
2. Insert the o-ring (Fig. 2, item 3) into the slot.

3.6.2 Return adapter 1 683 356 137 for Delphi CRI
The return adapter 1 683 356 137 (Fig. 3, item 1)
connects the return line of the Delphi CRI (Fig. 3,
item 2) to the return quantity test connection on
the EPS 200 / EPS 205 using the hose assemblies
1 680 712 249 and 1 680 712 289.

Before using the return adapter, check the O-ring
for damage. Change a defective or brittle O-ring.
Detached bits of the O-ring will damage the injec-
tor or the EPS 200 / EPS 205.

Secure the return adapter by pressing down the tab
(Fig. 3, item 3). To remove it, pull the tab up and
remove the return adapter from the return connec-
tion.

The hose assemblies 1 680 712 249 and
1 680 712 289 are included in the accessory set
1 687 010 399.

The included cover caps can be used to keep the
return adapters dust-free during storage.
