Training

The supplementary equipment set 1 687 205 016
is designed for personnel trained in the use of
EPS 200 / EPS 205 and familiar with injector testing in
diesel workshops. They must have completed a train-
ing course on "Testing and repairing CRIs and piezo
CRIs" at the AA training center. The operating instruc-
tions must be thoroughly read and observed for your
own safety and to prevent damage to the equipment
through improper handling.

The return adapter 1 687 016 138 (Fig. 1, item 1) con-
nects the return line of the Siemens / VDO / Continen-
tal piezo CRI (Fig. 1, item 2) to the return quantity test
connection on the EPS 200 / EPS 205 using the hose
assembly 1 680 712 289.

Before using the return adapter, check the O-ring
for damage. Change a defective or brittle O-ring.
Detached bits of the O-ring will damage the injec-
tor or the EPS 200 / EPS 205.
