9. Affix the tube end in the collection container.
10. Fill inflow tube completely with fluid.
6.3 Optional Autoclavable Wired Remote Control (Standard Mode /
Inflow Only Mode)
The device can be operated from within the sterile surgical environment using
the wired remote control. Please read chapter 9.2 Autoclaveable Wired Remote
Control, page 32 before using the wired remote control.
6.3.1 Connecting the Wired Remote Control
Non-sterile task:
1. Open the sterile package of the wired remote control and hand the unit to the
"sterile nurse" or medical technician.
Sterile task:
2. Remove the remote control and hand the plug of the wired remote control to the
"non-sterile nurse" or medical technician.
Non-sterile task:
3. Connect wired remote control to connection socket at front of device.
Turn plug of the wired remote control so that red dot points up.

Presetting Nominal Pressure

The max. nominal pressure is 150 mm Hg.
The min. setting is 15 mm Hg.
Factory setting = 35 mm Hg
Briefly press the keys to change the value in increments of 5.
Keeping the keys depressed longer than 1.5 seconds scrolls the displayed values
in increments of 10.
The selected value is indicated in the nominal pressure display.
