9.1

Inflow Only Mode

The suction/irrigation system may also be used as an irrigation pump when
device is used in the so-called "Inflow Only Mode." When used as an irrigation
pump, only the roller wheel on the irrigation side is active.
The device automatically switches to the "Inflow Only Mode" as soon as the
pump is started without an inserted drain tube. The display shows Flow
recognition.

In "Inflow Only Mode," the shaver suction function is converted to an inflow limit
(see Fig. 5-1 Front of the device, page 13).
9.2

Autoclaveable Wired Remote Control

The device can be operated within the sterile surgical environment using the
wired remote control.
Operate the remote control only if it is dry and has been sterilized.
