Adjustment with Ottobock C-Soft
The orthosis emits beep signals in order to indicate to the patient and Orthotist that the connection has been estab­
lished. The blue LED on the BionicLink flashes as well.
Once the connection has been established, the data are read from the orthosis. If errors occur when establishing
the connection, read the chapter "Errors Establishing a Connection" see Page 60.
Disconnecting from the Orthosis
1) Click the Disconnect tab.
2) Click the Disconnect button.
→ The orthosis is disconnected.
3) Disconnect the BionicLink from the orthosis.
4) Close the plug cover.
Reconnecting to the Orthosis
1) Click the Connect tab.
2) Click the Reconnect button.
3) Read the security notice on the screen and click the OK button.
→ A connection is established to the orthosis.

7.6.2.1 Errors Establishing a Connection

If a connection cannot be established, an error message is displayed on the screen.
1) Correct the cause of the error.
2) In the error message, click the OK button.
3) Click the Connect via Bluetooth button.
Error
The blue LED on the 60X7 Bion­
icLink on the orthosis is not lit.
The green LED on the 60X5 Bion­
icLink PC is not lit.

7.6.3 Calibration (Zero Setting)

Adjustments are not possible without prior calibration!
INFORMATION
Instruct the patient in accordance with the explanations in the software's adjustment section.

Cause of error
The 60X7 BionicLink is not connec­
ted to the orthosis.
The orthosis battery is not charged.
The connecting cable between the
60X7 BionicLink and the orthosis is
defective.
The battery charger is connected to
the orthosis.
The BionicLink plug on the orthosis
is defective.
Defective USB port on the computer
or USB hub, if used.
Error correction
Connect the 60X7 BionicLink to the
orthosis.
Charge the orthosis battery.
Replace the connecting cable.
Disconnect the battery charger from
the orthosis.
The orthosis does not function when
the battery charger is connected.
This means a connection to the com­
puter cannot be established during
the charging process.
Check the BionicLink plug on the
orthosis.
If the contacts are damaged, send
the orthosis to an Ottobock Service
Centre.
Use a different USB port on the
computer.
Disconnect the USB hub and con­
nect the 60X5 BionicLink PC directly
to a USB port on the computer.
