– Disconnect the diagnostics cable from the VeGA.
VeGA will switch off automatically.
– Reconnect the control panel.
CI-BUS functionality
Testing the CI-BUS functionality
1. Disconnect the CI-BUS cable from the OEM control panel
on the "CI-BUS" socket on the CP plus.
2. Connect the Diagnose Tool to the CP plus („CI-BUS"
socket) using a TIN-BUS cable.
3. Supply the Diagnose Tool with 12 volts DC voltage (see
connection diagrams).

4. Start the Live Display on the computer
5. Start the product search in the "Live Display" with "Tools"
"Start".
1 Click on "File".
2 Select "Error Explorer".
– "Live Display" will close.
– "Error Explorer" will
start.
1 Click on "File".
2 Click on "Exit".

The Diagnose Tool will now search the CP plus. After a suc-
cessful search, the CP plus is displayed on the screen.

6. Click on the "Start communication check" button.
The communication check will start (bidirectional)
CI-BUS -> TIN-BUS -> Device
Results
The Diagnose Tool starts an automatic test run. When the test
is successful, a "green tick" is displayed.
