11. Installing the remote control components

a) Mounting the gas servo
(only for helicopters with combustion engine)
• The gas servo is screwed into the prepared frame (1)
on the slanted chassis disk.
• The joint ball of the carburetor linkage enclosed to the
combustion set is screwed on at a distance of 12 mm to
the pivotal point on the back of the servo lever (also
see ill. 22, pos. 3).
• Then you suspend the carburetor linkage (2) on the
servo lever and the carburetor control lever (3).
b) Mounting the receiver
• Helicopter with combustion engine:
In the combustion design, the receiver is stuck on directly
next to the gas servo on the slanted chassis disk with
servo tape or adhesive foam rubber.
• Helicopter with electric engine:
In order to avoid malfunctions, it makes more sense for
the electric design to fix the receiver on the horizontal
chassis disk (2), because the flight control is attached
to the rear of the slanted chassis disk.
• The receiver antenna is guided on the side to the right
front skid and then pushed through the enclosed
antenna tube.
• There are two little catches on the inside of the skids into which you insert the antenna tube (also see ill. 20, pos.
10).

d) Réglage de la tension de la courroie dentée
• Le déplacement du tube arrière permet de régler la ten-
sion de la courroie dentée.
• Desserrez d´abord les deux vis de retenue du châssis
(1), puis les deux vis de l´empennage horizontal (2).
• Déplacez le tube arrière dans le sens requis jusqu´à ce
que la courroie soit correctement tendue.
• La tension de la courroie est correcte lorsque vous pou-
vez enfoncer sans effort la courroie avec un petit tour-
nevis (3) jusqu´au milieu du tube arrière.
Un effort plus important devrait être nécessaire pour la
déformer un peu plus.
• Revissez à fond le tube arrière dans cette position.

Avant de visser le tube, veillez à ce que l´arbre rotor arrière soit parfaitement à l´horizontale et le rotor
arrière vertical.
