You can directly influence aileron deflection depending on what hole of the servo lever the clevis is connected to. If the clevis is inserted closer to the pivotal point
of the servo lever, aileron deflection is decreased. If the clevis is inserted further to the outside, aileron deflection is increased.

k) Checking motor operation

First switch on the transmitter. Then switch on the model. The speed controller emits 6 short audio signals. When you move the motor speed control stick (see
fig. 2, pos.10) slowly from motor-off position towards full-motor-speed position, the motor should start running. Now check if the propeller runs smoothly at low
speed before running at full throttle for a short time.
Caution!
Make sure that no loose parts such as paper, film or other objects can be sucked in by the propeller during the test run. Also make sure that the
model is held securely during this test run and that no body parts are within the rotation range or danger area of the propeller.
If the motor does not start running, the protective circuit has been activated. In this case, move the motor speed control stick as well as the motor speed trim
slider (see fig. 2, pos. 11) to the lowest position. If you now move the control stick towards maximum motor speed again, the motor will start running.

l) Altering the Remote Control

You can swap the functions of the motor speed control stick and the elevator control stick by re-arranging the return spring and the stop spring of the control stick
units in the transmitter. Afterwards, only the connectors of the two stick potentiometers on the electronic circuit board have to be swapped. Doing this, however,
requires some experience in handling remote controls. If you do not have this experience, you can send the transmitter to our customer service department to
be modified.

m) Reworking the decal set

As the adhesiveness of the decal set might weaken over time, you can
permanently attach the decal set to the model.
Take a normal iron or a steam iron with the water tank detached and
wrap it into a tea towel that you do not need any more. Make sure there
are no folds at the ironing surface.
Start at the lowest temperature level and carefully press the decal set
against the model with the front part of the heated-up surface of the iron.
Owing to the tea towel, the decal set does not stick to the iron.
If the iron is not warm enough to ensure permanent adhesion to the model,
raise the temperature in small steps until you have determined the opti-
mal setting.
Caution!
Do not use too much heat as the decal set as well as the model might be damaged. Never use a heat gun to attach the decal set. Heat guns produce
too much heat for the model.
The warrantee/guarantee does not cover damage to the model caused but excessive heat.
