c) Installing the winglets on the wing
Hold the winglet (1) against the wing from the outside. Make sure that the
winglet is flush with the wing bottom.
Use a foil pen to mark the wing outline on the inside of the winglet.
Remove the foil below the line using a box cutter. Make sure that you only cut
the foil and do not cut the wood underneath.
Glue the winglet into the provided cut-out (2) using 5-minute epoxy glue. Make
sure that the winglet is flush with the wing bottom.
d) Installing the motors and the nacelles
Insert the cables of the electric motor (1) into the provided holes. Make sure the
cables are installed neatly.
Install the motor with suitable attachment screws (2). Apply a sufficient amount
of threadlocker as it is quite difficult to make adjustments later.
