c) Installing the Elevator Linkage

Hook the clevis (1) of the elevator pushrod into the outer-
most (top) hole of the rudder horn (2).
Open the battery compartment lid (3) at the top of the
fuselage before the cockpit (also see figure 14) and remove
the battery connection cable of the flight controller.
Then put the transmitter into operation and connect the
charged flight battery (4) to the flight controller's plug (5)
protected against polarity reversal. The trimming lever for
the engine function (see figure 2, item 11) must be in the
bottom-most position for this.
If the control stick for the elevator and aileron functions (see
fig 2, item 3) at the transmitter is moved up and down, the
elevator (6) must deflect downwards and upwards.
If the control stick and trim slider for the elevator function
are in their central positions, the elevator must form a level
with the elevator dampening area (7).
The elevator must not be angled slightly to the top or bottom.
Slight dislocation of the elevator can be removed by
unhooking and twisting the clevis (1)
