h) Installing the drive engine and the flight control system

• Conrad offers the appropriate brushless inrunner motor
for the model under order no. 230125.
• After you have connected the motor (1) with an
appropriate flight controller (2), quickly check the
direction of rotation before connecting the motor from
behind to the upper frame.
• The flight controller is attached with servo tape behind
the motor on the base of the fuselage.
• Then the propeller and the cone can be mounted.
• Depending on the choice of battery and motorisation, propellers from 7 x 4" to 7 x 6" can be used.
i) Installation of receiver
• To ensure the receiver (1) can't hit the aileron linkages,
practice has shown that it is recommendable to pack
the receiver in foam and to stow it securely between
the upper side of the fuselage and the servo board.
• For the side rudder servo, a short servo extension cable
(2) is connected to the servo board to which the side
rudder is then later attached.
• The antenna cable is passed to the outside of the
fuselage through a hole and wired to the linkage.
The excess antenna cable is dragged along in flight.
