k) Installing the speed controllers

Solder the motor connection cables to the cables of the speed controllers.
Insulate the cables provisionally and run a function test. To do that, connect the
battery to the speed controller. Then connect the speed controller to the receiver
unit and check if the rotational direction of the impeller is correct. The rotational
direction is correct if an air jet towards the tail is generated. If this is not the
case, two of the three motor cables must be swapped.
When the function test is successful, insulate the wires using heat-shrink tube
(which is put on the wires before soldering) and install the speed controllers
and the cables under the servos.
l) Installing the receiver
The receiver (1) is fixed in the fuselage using servo tape. The aerial cable of
the receiver (2) must be installed to the end of the fuselage to the outside
through the vent hole.
Important!
Speed controllers are usually equipped with BEC systems which
cannot be switched off and serve as power supply for the receiver
unit.
To protect the receiver unit and especially the speed controllers
from damage, one of the two BEC systems must be disabled before
both speed controllers are used simultaneously for the first time.
For this purpose, cut the red wire on the receiver plug of one of
the two speed controllers and insulate the cut portion.

m) Installing the wings

Before using the model plane, always secure the wings with two screws to
ensure that they cannot come off. Do not overtighten the screws.
Make sure that the wing is aligned correctly and without gaps.
