8. Montage du modèle miniature
Avant de commencer le montage, lisez d´abord chaque partie attentivement, et à tête reposée. Un schéma représentant l'étape de montage décrite
y est joint afin de faciliter la compréhension.
Notez que les numéros dans le texte se réfèrent toujours aux composants indiqués dans le schéma ci-contre, à droite.
N´effectuer les travaux prévus dans les parties respectives qu´après avoir bien compris leur réalisation et lorsque vous savez parfaitement ce à
quoi vous devez faire attention au cours des travaux.
a) Fuselage
Le fuselage et la pièce moulée de la verrière ont déjà été entoilés avec du film
en usine. Il ne reste ainsi que quelque petites manipulations pour terminer le
modèle réduit au niveau du fuselage.
Pratiquez un perçage à gauche et à droite dans la partie intérieure du fuselage,
pour les rallonges de câbles des servos (1). Utilisez à cet effet une tige d'environ
30 cm de long que vous passez précautionneusement de l'extérieur et intérieur.
Insérez les rallonges de câbles de servos (2) depuis la partie intérieure du
fuselage. Les fiches de branchement des servos sont à l'intérieur du fuselage,
les extrémités ouvertes des rallonges dépassent des ouvertures du fuselage et
seront soudés ultérieurement avec les câbles de servos des ailes extérieures.

b) Préparation du montage de la gouverne de profondeur latérale
Les servos utilisés doivent avoir une poussée minimale de 10 Ncm et leurs
dimensions ne doivent pas excéder 20 x 11 x 22 mm. Avec les servos
recommandés par Conrad Electronic, vous pouvez prendre les pas suivants
1:1. Si vous utilisez des servos ayant d'autres dimensions, vous devez le cas
échéant effectuer des modifications à votre appréciation.
Les figures 4 et 5 montrent le montage du servo de gouverne latérale de
droite. De gauche, vous devez effectuer le montage à l'inverse.
Derrière le spoiler (1), retirez le film disposé sur le compartiment préfabriqué
du servo et faites un essai de mise en place d'un servo (2).

h) Installing the motor mount
The motor mount consists of a motor frame (1), two side parts (2) and two small
wooden blocks (3). Construct a motor mount as shown in figure 9 with the
wooden parts shown. Glue the wooden parts using 5 minute epoxy glue.
i) Attaching the motor mount to the fuselage
Remove the fuselage film for ventilation and the motor mount attachments (1).
Place the motor mount into the gap in the fuselage and check that it sits correctly.
The motor mount must sit tightly in the gap. The motor frame (2) must lean
slightly forwards (toward the front of the fuselage).
Place the motor cover (4) on the motor mount and mark the cover holes onto
the motor mount. Remove the cover and drill the marked mounting holes with a
3 mm drill. Insert the anchors into the holes (3).
Place the motor mount into the gap in the fuselage and check that it sits correctly

once again. If everything is perfect, glue the motor mount securely to the
fuselage using 5 minute epoxy glue.
Mount the motor you are going to use and attach the propeller. Depending on
the motor to be used and the propeller shaft, you may wish to adjust the motor
cover "collar" (5). The motor cover is secured with rubber rings.
j) Installation of the speed control and the receiver
Solder the speed controller you are going to use to the motor. Switch on your
remote control and attach the rechargeable flight battery to the speed control
and test the direction of propeller rotation.
The rotation is correct if air is pushed out the back. If everything is working
correctly, you can slot the speed controller (1) backwards into the fuselage as
shown.
Attach the speed controller and the two servo extension cables for the planar
servo (2) to the receiver (3). Then mount the receiver in the rear of the fuselage
