c) Switching on the Helicopter
First, plug the IR adapter (1) into the headphones output (2)
of your Apple® iPad, Apple® iPhone or Apple® iPod touch.
The adapter must be set so that the three IR-LEDs at the
front (3) can point right at the model and are not covered.
On demand, you may use the button for the reversing
function (see figure 5, item 4) to horizontally turn the
operating interface by 180°.
Caution, important!
The adapter must be correctly connected to the Apple® iPad, Apple® iPhone or Apple® iPod touch and
the headphones volume must be set to maximum.
Start the I-Helicopter software on your Apple® iPad, Apple® iPhone or Apple® iPod touch.
When operating the button for signal transfer of the IR adapter on the operating interface (see figure 5, item 7), the
display switches from "OFF" to "ON". The blue LED at the IR-adapter lights up to check the activated signal transfer to
the model helicopter (see figure 8, item 4).
To switch on the model helicopter, slide the helicopter function switch (see figure 3, item 3) from the front position
"OFF" to the rear position "ON".
The helicopter electronics now performs internal attunement for approx. 3 seconds and "learns" the transmitter control
signals. Only then will the helicopter react to control commands, and the model is ready to start.
During the attunement process, the model helicopter must not be turned or moved, and no other IR remote
control transmitter should be operated in direct proximity of the model.

d) Selection of the Digital Transmitter Encoding

When switching on, the transmission channel "A" is activated. If, however, two or three I-Helicopters are to be operated
in the same room, every transmitter must be set to a different code.
First switch off your model helicopter and then the signal transmission of the IR adapter.
Use the sender signal encoding buttons (see figure 5, item 3) to select the transmission channel "B" or "C".
Then take the IR adapter into operation first, then the helicopter.
Important!
Before starting to fly your model helicopter, you should take note of the following information first.
