f) Mounting the piezo gyroscope

• The piezo gyroscope (1) is glued with a double-sided
adhesive foam plate, that is included in the delivery of
the gyroscope, on the provided platform at the upper
side of the chassis.
• The connection assembly to the servo of the tail rotor is
secured with adhesive tapes and the wound up cable
is then fastened to the chassis with a cable fastener
(2).
• The connecting cable (3) of the gyroscope is guided
forward, as with the swash plate servos, out of the me-
chanics.
g) Mounting the receiver
• The receiver (1) is fastened with several rubber rings at
the upper chassis front end. Placing some additional
foam underneath has proved worthwhile in practice to
uncouple mechanical chassis vibrations from the re-
ceiver.
• Extra-long servo cables are looped in loops and fas-
tened laterally at the receiver likewise with rubber rings.
• The receiver antenna is guided through a small tube
(2) that comes from the RC car domain. If necessary,
you must file the provided eyelets slightly at the bear-
ing retainers.
Lay the wire of the antenna in a way that allows the
canopy to be installed without difficulty.
Attention!
Make sure when laying the cables that no cable is under mechanical tensile loading and that all cables
are firmly fastened at the chassis (3).
Laying the cables too loosely can cause the cables to fray or to get into the mechanics.
