o) Checking the rudder surface travel

• For correct construction and sender settings the two
elevator rudders (measured at the trailing edge) should
move 15 mm upwards and downwards if the control
stick for the elevator rudder function is moved from one
stop to the other on sender.
The trailing edge of the rudder should move 25 mm to
the right and left.
• If the control sticks are not moved on the sender, the
rudders must be precisely in the central position.
Warning!
As the model reacts very quickly to slight changes of the control sticks on the sender with the above
settings, only slight movements of the control sticks are necessary for flying. However, the model also
has great mobility which can be helpful in extreme flying situations.
Practical tip:
If you would like less rudder efficiency, many senders provide a so-called dual rate function with the
help of which rudder surface travel can be reduced. If your sender does not support this function, simply
move the stud bolt on the respective servo lever further to the inside in order to reduce rudder surface
travel.
