11. Checking the model functions

Before you start your model for the first time, you need to familiarize yourself with the control functions and test the
model functions.
First, switch on the transmitter and then the receiver. The function switch for the model is located directly next to the
charge socket (see Figure 4, pos. 5). Slide the switch from the "OFF" to the "ON" position.
Warning!
Before performing a motor function test, make sure that the model cannot slide away and that no
objects like paper or foil can be sucked in by the propellers and enter the propeller rotation.
a) Testing the motor function
• The electric motor speed (RPMs) is controlled using
the power lever (see Figure 2, pos. 7). The further you
push the control lever forwards, the higher the rotation
speed.
• At maximum rotation speed, the model ascends at a
flat angle (see Figure 5, diagram A).
• With reduced rotation speed, the model holds its altitude
(see Figure 5, diagram B).
• At low rotation speed, the model loses altitude (see
Figure 5, diagram C).
• After a short motor function test, let the control lever
retract to the bottom position (motor-off position).
