j) Installing the flight battery
• The location where the battery is to be installed must
be selected so that the right centre of gravity is
maintained automatically.
The center of gravity is exactly 68 mm behind the nose
rail.
• Depending on the shape of the battery, it is
recommended to create a battery support plate from
light wood. Attach the battery using velcro strip.

k) Checking the rudder surface travel

When correctly constructed and when the receiver is correctly adjusted, the rudders should exhibit the following
surface travel measurements (measured from the rear edge):
Aileron: 12 mm upwards
Elevator: 12 mm upwards
Rudder: 20 mm to the left

The values given are for an initial setting only, to adjust the model to your personal control/flying habits.
In practice it has proven recommendable, to reduce the rudder effect using switchable dual rate function and to add a
corresponding share of expotential function to the rudders.
I) Applying the outer detail stickers
Cut the outer detail stickers out and attach them to the as per the product illustration or simply to your own design/
taste.
If you attached the detail stickers for the wings exclusively to the bottom or exclusively to the top of the
wings, then you have an additional visual guide to clearly recognise the flight attitude of the model.
