Set the minutes using "UP" or "DOWN" (press each field longer for fast setting), you can exit the menu by pressing
"EXIT".
c) Setting the date manually
Normally both the time and date are automatically set via the DCF signal. If you cannot receive a DCF signal where
the unit is mounted (e.g. in cellars or similar) the date can be manually set (time setting see Chapter 14.b)
First switch the DCF signal reception off in the basic settings (see Chapter 13) if necessary, otherwise
a valid DCF signal may overwrite the manual setting.
Touch the "DATE" display area at the upper right of the display. Then the bottom of the display shows:
YEAR:2008 * UP *
*NEXT*
*DOWN*
Set the year using "UP" or "DOWN" (press each field longer for fast setting), you can move on to set the month by
pressing "NEXT".
MONTH:05

*DOWN*
Set the month using "UP" or "DOWN" (press each field longer for fast setting), you can move on to set the date by
pressing "NEXT".
DAY:17

Set the date using "UP" or "DOWN" (press each field longer for fast setting), you can exit the menu by pressing "EXIT".

d) Switching between date/weekday/seconds

If you touch the display field with the date several times, the display will be switched between:
• Displaying date, month, year ("DATE" in the display)
If the time is set to 12 hour mode, the order of the display for month and date is reversed, the display
is then: Month, date, year.
• Displaying weekday, date, month ("DATE" in the display)
• Seconds ("SEC" in the display)
• Alarm time ("ALARM" in the display)
