14. Operation

a) Display minimum/maximum values and alarm limit values

When the weather station is in normal operation, the minimum and maximum temperatures appear alternately in the
text lines at the bottom of the display, in addition the time of max/min temperature occurrence is also displayed.
Example:
MAXTEMP
22.5 °C
TODAY
22:52
To display further minimum and maximum values (e.g. air humidity), touch the text field at the bottom of the display.
If you have not yet entered another menu, the following appears:
*SETUP **MINMAX*
*ALARMS** EXIT *
With the "MINMAX" button, you can display the minimum and maximum values in the display, with "ALARM" you can
display the programmed alarm limit values (by which a sound alarm can be activated when the temperature falls
below or exceeds the values).
The following menu control is self-explanatory. Depending on whether you have selected "MINMAX" or "ALARMS",
one of the following displays appears:
* MIN *
* MAX *
*ALARMS** EXIT *
"MIN" shows the minimum values at the top of the display, "MAX" shows the maximum values.
"LO AL" makes the display show the lower alarm limit values, "HI AL" shows the upper limits.

b) Setting the time manually

Normally both the time and date are automatically set via the DCF signal. If you cannot receive a DCF signal where
the unit is mounted (e.g. in cellars or similar) the time can be manually set (date setting see Chapter 14.c)
First switch the DCF signal reception off in the basic settings (see Chapter 13) if necessary, otherwise
a valid DCF signal may overwrite the manual setting.
Touch the "TIME" display area at the upper left of the display. Then the bottom of the display shows:
*TIME*
*ALARM*
*EXIT*
You can exit the menu using the "EXIT" button; you can move on to set the hours by pressing "TIME".
HOUR:21
* UP *
*NEXT*
*DOWN*
Set the hours using "UP" or "DOWN" (press each field longer for fast setting), you can move on to set the minutes
by pressing "NEXT".
