9. Touchscreen Display

Unlike many other weather station, which are controlled using a large number of buttons which can have many
different functions, this weather station has a touchscreen display and is operated via a simple menu system.
Please note the following operating instructions:
• You only need to touch the display gently. Do not apply too much pressure to the display, it may be damaged!
• Only use your fingers to operate, never use other objects (e.g. pens or similar).
• Do not touch the display with wet hands, this may cause water to enter the device and seriously damage it.
• Only use clean fingers to operate, as the display will become soiled very quickly otherwise.
When cleaning the display be sure not to push too hard, otherwise you may cause scratches. When cleaning too
roughly you may also carry out undesired operations via the display.
• The bottom two lines of text represent the menu operation, which allows you to carry out many diverse settings.
The rest of the display shows a variety of measured values. The display is touch sensitive in this area too, further
data can be displayed simply by touching the respective display surface (the respective settings options also
appear automatically in the two menu operation lines).
• If the confirmation tone is activated, a correctly sense touch command is confirmed by a short tone signal.
• If you have, for example, activated a function and then no further action is undertaken for a longer period of time
(approx- 30 seconds) the weather station automatically returns to the main menu or the base function (Time-Out).
